La'Tisha Hearne

La’Tisha Hearne will be entering her first year at JJ Pearce High School as the Varsity Girls Basketball coach. Coach Hearne comes to Pearce from Clarksville High School where she served as the head Basketball and Volleyball coach for two years. She led her basketball team to the playoffs both years. Her first year she led her team 3 rounds into playoffs before falling short. It had been several years since the Girls Basketball team made it that far. After her first season at Clarksville Coach Hearne earned the title of Coach of the Year for Red River County.  Prior to Clarksville, Coach Hearne spent two years at Westwood Junior High where she experienced two successful seasons with one being an undefeated season. Before moving back home to teach and coach at Westwood she spent a year at North Hopkins High School and a year at Rains Junior High.
 
Hearne does not have children yet but she has two adorable dogs named Remi and Reagan. She also has 3 nephews and 1 niece that are her world. Hearne possesses a strong passion for the game of basketball and has been playing since she was 4 years old. She was a four-year letterman at Richardson High School and was first-team All-District in the 9-5A division. Hearne was named district Newcomer of the Year as a freshman and averaged 15 points and eight rebounds per game as a senior. She also helped to lead the Lady Eagles to a bi-district championship in 2010 and 2011. Upon graduating high school Hearne attended Texas A&M University-Commerce where she played 4 years of collegiate basketball. She helped set an amazing foundation as a leader and held records at the university level. Hearne obtained 2 degrees from TAMUC, She received her Bachelor's in 2015 and her Master’s in 2017. Hearne received her Bachelors of Science in Sport Recreation and Management with a minor in General Business. She also secured a Master’s of Science in Athletic Administration.


​Zachary Dickey

​Zachary Dickey is entering his 5th year at Pearce High School.  This will be his first year as the Varsity Assistant. He has spent the past 4 years coaching sub varsity teams. His passion for coaching has led them to winning records all 4 years, including a JV record of 18-8 in 2020 and District Runner-up in 2019. Coach Dickey was also part of the Volleyball program, leading his Freshman B team to two District Runner-ups and a District Championship in 2019.

He was born and raised in Wichita Falls, TX where he attended Midwestern State University.  He graduated in 2017 with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics. After graduation, Zachary moved to Plano and began coaching at Pearce High School. He is the department lead for the Algebra 1 team and has taught Algebra 1 since joining Pearce. He is currently attending Texas A&M-Commerce to obtain his Master’s Degree in Sports Administration. 




​Crystal Clark

Crystal Clark is entering her 4th year at Pearce High School as a Lady Mustang Basketball Coach.  This will be her first year as the JV Coach after leading our Freshman Basketball Program for 3 successful years.  Her first year as the Freshman Coach, Clark led our JJ Pearce Lady Mustangs to a 25-3 overall record and 13-1 in district earning them a spot with Duncanville as the 8-6A Freshman Girls Basketball District Champions.  Her second year our Lady Mustang Freshman team placed 2nd in District with a 24-8 overall record. 

​This past season, the year of COVID, our freshman team experienced a lot of growth and development preparing them for the next level.  Prior to joining the Lady Mustang Basketball coaching staff, Clark begin her coaching career for the district at North Junior High School.  During her time at North, the Lady Vikings reached a 38-14 record and also won City Champions in 2017.  Clark is a coach that believes in building from the bottom up and that mental strength is an important key to successful growth.  Clark was also the JV Coach in the Lady Mustang Softball Program for 2 years and is now entering her first year as the Freshman B team Volleyball Coach.


She is a native of Longview, Texas and graduate of Grambling State University with a B.A. in Psychology and a M.S. in Sport Administration. Clark is also a graduate of Louisiana State University-Shreveport with a M.S. in Kinesiology/concentration in Sport Psychology.  A former member of the Grambling State University Tiger Marching Band, she brings her versatility, leadership and strength to the program.  Clark has truly enjoyed being a part of Mustang Nation coaching, teaching and mentoring our athletes and students, but her total joy is being a mother to her wonderful son Jace.


​Christopher Bryan

Coach Bryan is entering his 4th year at JJ Pearce HS, and his 9th year overall teaching/coaching. He has coached Strength & Conditioning throughout his career, as well as working with Football, Baseball, Powerlifting, Track & Field, Swim, and is now looking foward to coaching Basketball and Softball.
 
Coach Bryan has been married to his wife, Taylor, for 6 years, and has 2 dogs: Boomer & Ruth. In his “free” time, Coach Bryan enjoys playing all sports, training, camping, hiking, building things, and traveling. He and his wife own 2 businesses doing photography as well as carpentry and welding.
