Lance Edge

Lance Edge is entering his sixth year at Pearce High School as the varsity girls basketball coach. Coach Edge comes to Pearce from Wylie East High School where he served in the same role for two years. He led the program to the playoffs for the first time in school history in the 2013-2014 season while also being named District 13-4A Coach of the Year. Prior to his time at Wylie East, Coach Edge spent three years as the varsity girls basketball coach at Crandall High School in Crandall, Texas. His teams qualified for the playoffs in each of his three seasons, while capturing the District 13-3A Championship in 2011 and twice making it to the regional quarter-final round of the playoffs. This playoff tradition is happening with the Lady Mustangs as he has lead the team to two consecutive years of playoff entrances.
Coach Edge is a graduate of Wylie High School and attended Tarleton State University where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise & Sports Studies. He and his wife Kyla have been married for ten years. They are proud parents of twins, William and Halle Kate. Coach Edge and his family live in Richardson and are excited to be a part of the Pearce community.

Sarah Blair
Assistant Varsity Coach

Sarah Blair is entering her fifth year at JJ Pearce High School, and is the assistant varsity girls basketball coach. In her first year at Pearce, she led the Freshmen Basketball team to a record of 12-12 and finished in the top four in District. She previously coached at Woodville High School as an assistant basketball coach, JV volleyball coach, and assistant track and field coach. She assisted the varsity basketball team to playoffs and the JV basketball team to District runner-ups. She also coached the JV volleyball team to District runner-ups and multiple athletes to Regionals for track and field. Coach Blair has led summer teams to compete in several tournaments including Prime Time Sports, Cinco De Mayo, All-American Shootout, and Run-N-Sun Classic.
Coach Blair is a graduate of Texas A&M-Commerce with a B.S. in Computer Information Systems and a minor in Coaching Athletics. She transferred to the Texas A&M-Commerce basketball team for three years after playing her freshman year at Kansas Wesleyan University. Coach Blair is enjoying coaching and training young ladies at JJ Pearce.
Coach Blair is a graduate of Texas A&M-Commerce with a B.S. in Computer Information Systems and a minor in Coaching Athletics. She transferred to the Texas A&M-Commerce basketball team for three years after playing her freshman year at Kansas Wesleyan University. Zachary Dickey
JV Coach

Zachary Dickey is entering his 4th year at Pearce High School. This is his 3rd year with the JV after a year coaching the freshman team. He held a JV record of 16-11, placing 3rd in district. He was born and raised in Wichita Falls, TX where he attended Midwestern State University. He graduated in 2017 with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics. After graduation, Zachary moved to Plano and began coaching at Pearce High School. He also coaches freshman girls volleyball.
Crystal Clark
Freshman Coach

Crystal Clark is entering her third year at Pearce as the Lady Mustangs Freshman Basketball Coach. She started her coaching career for the district at North Junior High School. During her time at North, the Lady Vikings Basketball teams reached a 38-14 record and also won City Champions in 2017. As a first year Freshman Basketball Coach, Clark led our JJ Pearce Lady Mustangs to a 25-3 overall record and 13-1 in district earning them a spot with Duncanville as the 8-6A Freshman Girls Basketball District Champions.
She is a native of Longview, Texas and graduate of Grambling State University with a B.A. in Psychology and a M.S. in Sport Administration. Clark is also a graduate of Louisiana State University-Shreveport with a M.S. in Kinesiology/concentration in Sport Psychology. A former member of the Grambling State Tiger Marching Band, she brings her versatility, leadership and strength to the program. Clark has truly enjoyed being a part of the growth and development of the Pearce athletes and students, but her total joy is being a mother to her wonderful baby boy Jace.
